University of Wollongong Art Collection

The University of Wollongong Art Collection (UOWAC) has been a part of the University of Wollongong since the 1960s. Today the collection comprises over 5000 individual works ranging from paintings, prints, ceramics, textiles and a number of outdoor sculptures. Art works are displayed across several campus locations including UOW's main Wollongong campus, Innovation Campus, Nowra, Bateman's Bay, Bega, Moss Vale, Loftus and the Sydney Business School. UOWAC aims to collect and care for works of art with significance to the University and wider Illawarra region. Art is an integral part of campus life for students, staff, the local community and wider art lovers who want to enjoy the collection.
